Our History
The first Kin Canada Club was formed in 1920 by Hal Rogers and a small group of like-minded men in Hamilton, Ontario. Excitement for Kin quickly grew and new clubs began forming all across the country. Over a century later, thousands of members still Serve the Community's Greatest Need with abundant passion in every Canadian province.
The Airdrie chapter of Kin Canada was established in 1981 and continues to welcome people from around our community (and elsewhere!) to help improve Airdrie for everyone.

Kin Clubs are local chapters of Kin Canada, an all-Canadian non-profit service organization often recognized by its traditional Kinsmen and Kinette clubs. While Kinsmen and Kinette clubs have historically been male- or female-focused, a Kin Club is an all-inclusive, co-ed club welcoming all adult members of the community.
As a service club, we bring community-minded individuals together to fundraise, volunteer on local initiatives, and build lasting friendships through regular fellowship and networking.
Our club operates under Kin Canada's national motto: "Serving the Community’s Greatest Need."
Because every community is unique, this mission allows our local chapter to direct fundraising and volunteer efforts exactly where Airdrie needs them most. Our goal is simple: support local causes, address urgent community needs, and make Airdrie a better place to live, work, and play..
To join the Airdrie Kin Club and become a full member, we ask that you attend at least three of our upcoming meetings or events, meet the team, and see if the club is a great fit for you. You can email us through the contact page to get a schedule of upcoming meetings and events.
We meet twice a month, in the evenings on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. These meetings are typically split in to business meetings with a focus on project planning, donation requests, and club operations and fellowship meetings, ddicated to socializing, casual outings, and networking with fellow members.
Full members are asked to attend regular meetings when possible and help run our major community service projects and fundraisers throughout the year.
